I became a therapist to empower people so that they are better able to live a healthier life. I find it to be a privilege to play a part in the stories of my clients.
I specialize in working with teens individually and/or with their parents who are hoping to learn and grow with their children. I have experience working with teens on the autism spectrum, who are struggling with anxiety or depression, or those who identify as being GLBTQIA.
I also work with adults who want to achieve work-life balance, resolve trauma-related symptoms, or to cope with anxiety and depression. I am able to give a strengths-based view and, when appropriate, a sex-positive approach.
Education and Training
I have a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling and Art Therapy from Antioch University. I have gained extensive experience working with adults and adolescents in both community mental health and private practice settings. By adopting techniques from several therapeutic methods, I'm able to customize each intervention to be as effective as possible.
