I became a therapist to empower people so that they are better able to live their life. Everyone needs support sometimes; whether you have been through a major traumatic event, struggled with a personal issue most of your life, or would like to receive extra help coping with day to day stress.
Education and Training
I received a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling and Art Therapy from Antioch University. I have gained extensive experience working with adults and adolescents in both community mental health and private practice settings. By adopting techniques from several therapeutic methods, I'm able to customize each intervention to be as effective as possible. I strive to integrate values around inclusiveness and I continue to educate myself in working with clients from an anti-oppression lens.
